Out and About with Overture Home Care

The holidays are here, and the Overture Home Care elves have been busy! Here are a few of the behind-the-scenes activities, events, seminars, conferences, and training sessions we have been part of since our last update —

We celebrated Home Care Aide Week by delivering reusable tote bags and goodies to all our home care aides.

We delivered Overture Home Care planners to partners who work with older adults.

We provided Dementia Live® training to all our new caregivers.

We offered Dementia Live® training to the wider community as well at several local senior living communities.

We supported the Tarrant Area Gerontological Society annual food and clothing drive to benefit the First Street Methodist Mission in Fort Worth, showing up to donate and work the event.

Nurse Liaison Gail Boyer, RN on her one-year anniversary at Overture Home Care.

We assisted with a Parkinson's Support Partner gala, and hosted events with our senior living community partners that included flower arranging and holiday wreath making classes, a Turkey Trot fun walk and turkey/pie giveaway, several Grand Openings, Happy Hours and Fall Festivals, and a deeply moving Veterans Day celebration, complete with certificates, toy soldiers and red-white-and-blue lollipops.

Finally, we honored our Nurse Liaison Gail Boyer, RN on her one-year anniversary at Overture Home Care, and nurses meeting.
