May was filled with celebrations, meaningful partnerships, educational opportunities, and wonderful time spent with our community across the DFW Metroplex. From Mother’s Day festivities to networking events and fundraisers, our team loved every opportunity to connect, support, and celebrate with those around us!

Cinco de Mayo with The Tradition

We kicked off the month celebrating Cinco de Mayo with The Tradition! The festive event was full of fun, laughter, and margaritas all around as residents and guests enjoyed time together celebrating the holiday spirit.

Cinco de Mayo at Legacy Oaks of Azle Memory Care

Our team also joined the celebration at Legacy Oaks of Azle Memory Care for another fun Cinco de Mayo gathering. Guests enjoyed delicious churros, margaritas, and plenty of smiles throughout the event. It was such a joy celebrating with residents and community partners!

Dementia Live at Collin College

Overture Home Care was honored to participate in two days of Dementia Live presentations across two Collin College campuses alongside our incredible partners at Dementia Friendly Dallas. Together, we presented to more than 60 LVN nursing students and educators, providing an interactive experience to help participants better understand the dementia journey and the importance of compassionate care.

Mother’s Day Flower Arrangements at HarborChase of Southlake

We had a wonderful time celebrating Mother’s Day at HarborChase of Southlake with a flower arrangement party! Residents created beautiful floral arrangements while enjoying time with friends and loved ones. A special thank you to Sunrise Home Health for partnering with us and providing the flowers for such a meaningful event.

Trending Women at Stevenson Oaks

Vanessa, Laci, and Alex attended this month’s Trending Women gathering at Stevenson Oaks where Mother’s Day celebrations continued. It was a wonderful afternoon connecting with amazing women in the community and celebrating the special mothers who make such a difference in all of our lives.

Mother’s Day Tea Party at The Stayton

We were excited to co-sponsor a lovely Mother’s Day tea party at The Stayton at Museum Way. Guests enjoyed tea, treats, and special moments together while honoring the incredible mothers and mother figures in the community.

Celebrating Mother’s Day at Trinity Terrace

Mother’s Day celebrations continued at Trinity Terrace where we enjoyed spending time with residents and helping make the day extra special. We always treasure opportunities to celebrate and connect with the seniors in our community.

Mother’s Day Celebration at Watermere at the Preserve

We had such a sweet time celebrating Mother’s Day at Watermere at the Preserve! Guests enjoyed delicious lemon bars from a local bakery along with visits from some adorable furry friends that brought lots of smiles to everyone throughout the event.

Mother’s Day Flower Bar at Watermere Highlands

Our team had a wonderful time co-hosting a Mother’s Day flower bar at Watermere at The Highlands. Residents and guests created beautiful floral arrangements while celebrating the amazing mothers in the community.

Happy Hour at West Fork Assisted Living and Memory Care

Happy hour at West Fork at Weatherford was filled with laughter, great conversation, and wonderful company. We always enjoy opportunities to spend time with residents and community partners in such a welcoming environment.

Meeting Residents at Arabella of Red Oak

Brittany, Theresa, and Paige had a wonderful time meeting and connecting with residents at Arabella of Red Oak. Building relationships and spending quality time with seniors is always one of our favorite parts of what we do.

CMSA Mix & Mingle at Blue Goose Cantina Plano

Paige enjoyed attending the CMSA Mix & Mingle at Blue Goose Cantina alongside fellow healthcare professionals and case managers. As a CMSA board member, Paige always loves opportunities to connect with others in the industry and support continued education within the healthcare community.

Kentucky Derby Party at Discovery Village Alliance

We had a fantastic time co-sponsoring a Kentucky Derby party at Discovery Village At Alliance Town Center! Everyone showed up in their fanciest hats and derby attire while enjoying delicious treats and festive fun throughout the celebration.

PMR Charity Golf Tournament

Overture Home Care was proud to sponsor the PMR Charity Golf Tournament supporting patients across the DFW Metroplex facing financial hardships related to medical illness. It was such a fun day on the course connecting with community members while supporting a meaningful cause that helps local patients and families.

Flower Event at Texas Rehabilitation Hospital of Fort Worth

Our flower event at Texas Rehabilitation Hospital of Fort Worth was such a wonderful experience. Guests had the opportunity to create their own flower arrangements to take home, making for a relaxing and creative afternoon filled with smiles and conversation.

Stroke Fair at ClearSky Rehabilitation Hospital of Weatherford

We were grateful to participate in the Stroke Fair at ClearSky Rehabilitation Hospital of Weatherford. Events like these provide important education, resources, and support for patients, families, and healthcare professionals throughout the community.

Fruit Cones and Berry Sangria at Wilshire

We had such a fun time helping Wilshire Senior Living celebrate happy hour with fresh fruit cones and berry sangria! It was a refreshing afternoon filled with smiles, conversation, and community connection.

SAGE Event at UNT Health

We were proud to co-host the Seniors Assisting Geriatric Education (SAGE) event at UNT Health Science Center which pairs teams of UNT Health and TCU students with older adults. Events like these provide valuable opportunities to connect with healthcare professionals and community members while supporting education, wellness, and collaboration throughout the healthcare community.

TAGS Quarterly Lunch

Our team enjoyed attending the TAGS Quarterly Lunch featuring guest speaker Ilda Martinez from Baylor Scott & White Emergency Hospitals. We were especially excited that all of our nurses made it out for the CEU opportunity and educational discussion. It was a great afternoon of learning, networking, and connection.

Trending Women Fundraising Event at Kendra Scott

We wrapped up the month attending the Trending Women fundraising event at Kendra Scott. It was a wonderful evening supporting a great cause, connecting with community partners, and celebrating the power of women coming together to make a difference.

Laci enjoyed attending Coffee and Marketing at North Pointe Nursing & Rehab. Events like these provide a great opportunity to connect with fellow healthcare professionals, strengthen partnerships, and learn more about the resources available throughout our community.

Fiesta Fun at StoneCreek

We had a wonderful time celebrating at a fiesta-themed event at StoneCreek in North Richland Hills alongside our friend Katie from AVIR. Residents enjoyed live music, mock margaritas, and a festive atmosphere full of fun and laughter.

Heartis hosted a health fair for residents, and we were grateful for the opportunity to participate. Events like these help connect residents with valuable resources while promoting health, wellness, and community engagement.

Go West with the Parker County Chamber

We attended the Go West event with the Parker County Chamber of Commerce, held at the beautiful MorningStar amenity center in Aledo. While the weather had other plans and the event was unfortunately rained out shortly after it began, we still enjoyed connecting with fellow community members and businesses.

Connecting with Residents at Arabella of Red Oak

Theresa and Brittany spent time meeting with residents at Arabella of Red Oak. Building relationships and getting to know community members is one of our favorite parts of being involved in the communities we serve.
