Out and About with Overture Home Care: April 2026
April was full of meaningful connections, community events, celebrations, and opportunities to support our incredible partners throughout the DFW area. Here’s a look at what the Overture Home Care team has been up to this month!
Ashley represented Overture Home Care at the Community Easter Egg Hunt hosted alongside West Fork Assisted Living and Memory Care and Hilltop Park Rehabilitation and Care Center in Weatherford. It was a fun day spent connecting with families and celebrating the spring season with the community.
Vanessa and Kara enjoyed serving lemonade at the Lemonade Social at Stevenson Oaks. Guests enjoyed refreshing drinks, live music, and a wonderful afternoon spent together.
We were so thankful to be invited to attend the groundbreaking for Baylor Emergency Hospital Alliance. Laci represented Overture Home Care and had the opportunity to connect with several members of their DFW executive team during this exciting milestone event.
Amy Preston partnered with Nexus Home Health for an employee appreciation event at Twin Rivers in Richardson. We always appreciate opportunities to celebrate the hardworking healthcare professionals who care for others every day.
Our team had a great time at the Murder Mystery Dinner at Watermere at the Preserve, where we served cookies and lemonade while enjoying an evening full of fun and entertainment with residents and guests.
We painted with coffee at Brookdale Eden Estates, and it was such a creative and enjoyable experience. The activity was not only fun but smelled amazing too!
Vanessa and Laci attended the Emberly Soirée Grand Opening in Keller and enjoyed celebrating the beautiful new community. They were also able to connect with Randi from Senior Living Specialists during the event.
Our team brought a little spring to Discovery Village Alliance with spring sangria and cookies. It was a cheerful afternoon spent celebrating the season with residents and staff.
We had the opportunity to lead Dementia Live® at The Westmore Senior Living and were grateful to utilize their media room for this impactful experience. Events like these help build understanding and empathy for those living with dementia.
We co-sponsored a Birthday Happy Hour at The Stayton at Museum Way, where we enjoyed cake, celebrated residents, and passed out birthday boxes to make the day even more special.
Laci created a festive booth for an island-themed party at Heartis. The tropical setup added a fun touch to the celebration and helped create a lively atmosphere for everyone attending.
We enjoyed attending the Spring into Business Networking Event with the Weatherford Chamber of Commerce and connecting with other local professionals and businesses in the community.
Ashley and Merideth put together a Spring Snack Bar for the staff at Holland Lake Rehabilitation and Wellness Center as a small way to show appreciation for their hard work and dedication.
Paige participated on a speaker panel at Texas Christian University for “Aging Roadmap,” speaking with master’s level social work students at Rees Jones Hall about aging and the importance of senior care resources.
We celebrated April birthdays at Legacy Oaks of Azle Independent Living with a special birthday lunch and birthday boxes for residents celebrating throughout the month.
Alex and Jessica had a blast representing Overture Home Care at the Trinity Terrace meet and greet, where they welcomed newly moved-in residents and connected with members of the community.
Laci attended the LinkD monthly meeting at StoneCreek NRH and enjoyed another great opportunity for networking and relationship building with fellow professionals.
Laci and Vanessa attended the Heartis Artists event and helped celebrate the incredible artists within the community by providing iced coffee, spin wheels, and a fun painting with coffee activity.
We attended the Trending Women Mid-Cities meeting at Harvest of Roanoke and enjoyed hearing an inspiring presentation from motivational speaker Dr. Jacqueline Campbell.
Ashley represented Overture Home Care at this month’s Growing Connections event at Legacy Oaks of Azle and enjoyed spending time connecting with community partners.
Jamie, Kenna, and Ashley set up at the tennis tournament at Pecan Plantation in Granbury benefiting the Alzheimer’s Association. We were honored to support such an important cause while connecting with attendees throughout the event.
We celebrated Law Enforcement Appreciation Day at Freedom House and were grateful for the opportunity to recognize and thank those who serve and protect our communities.
Laci attended Coffee Connections at Mariella of Grapevine and enjoyed another morning of networking and relationship building with local professionals.
Laci attended the Baylor Grapevine Day Neuro Grand Opening with View. A special bonus of the event was getting to meet Pierce, the service dog, who quickly became a crowd favorite.
Alex and Laci led Dementia Live® at the Keller Senior Center, helping participants gain a deeper understanding of what individuals living with dementia may experience in their daily lives.
We are grateful for every opportunity to connect with our community, support our partners, and spend meaningful time with the incredible seniors and professionals we meet along the way.
