Out and About With Overture Home Care: March 2026
We love being part of the communities we serve! From local events to time spent with our partners, these moments allow us to connect, support one another, and stay engaged with the people who make our work so meaningful! This March was full of just that!
Alex and Laci showed up matching for this month’s Smart Senior Series event, where the focus was “Planning for your future: the power of being prepared.” They passed out snacks, candy, and a few Overture treats while connecting with attendees. Be sure to check out the Smart Senior Series events ! They are free to attend for seniors and their guests but space is limited so reserve your spot today! The next talk is on Thursday, May 7th, 2026, and the topic is “Nature as Wellness: A Simple Path to a Healthier Life”! We can’t wait to see you there!
We co-sponsored a mani and pedi night to celebrate National Social Worker Month, treating some incredible social workers and case managers to a well-deserved evening of relaxation!

At Stevenson Oaks, we hosted a St. Patrick’s Day mixology event and mixed up a festive grasshopper. It was a fun and lively celebration! Everyone was seeing green in their St. Patty’s Day sunnies!
We co-sponsored the Beignet Bus at Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Arlington, sharing sweet treats with everyone who stopped by.
Our team also led a Dementia Live® experience at Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Arlington, helping participants better understand the dementia journey!
Kara Naquin Jones, RN, BSN, our community nurse at Stevenson Oaks, shared her expertise in nutrition, educating residents on reading labels and understanding fats and sugars to avoid. She gave a great visual representation on just how much sugars and fats are in certain foods.
Overture sponsored a Mid Cities Board and Brush event with referral partners, enjoying a creative event while connecting with other home care professionals. We love to see our community express their creativity!
Vanessa attended the Watermere Highlands Founders Lunch, where we sponsored festive green-themed raffle baskets to celebrate the St. Patrick’s Day season.
Our team attended the Trending Women “Unlocked” event, where we sponsored the sign-in table. We had an amazing time celebrating women in business, enjoying performances, and watching inspiring award recognitions! Dress code: Pink!
We led another Dementia Live® training at Trinity Terrace, with a great turnout and strong engagement! It was another great demonstration of what living with Dementia is like.
We brought St. Patrick’s Day cheer to Keller Oaks with festive punch, cookies, and gold chocolate coins straight from the pot of gold!
We sponsored happy hour at Harvest of Aledo, enjoying time with residents and building relationships.
Ashley handed out Overture Home Care birthday boxes at the March birthday lunch at Legacy Oaks of Azle, helping celebrate residents on their special day!
Vanessa attended Just Brew It at The Westmore and even won a prize from Beverly with The Wilshire!
We hosted a St. Patrick’s Day tasting at The Tradition! The tasting board featured a tasting of three different Irish whiskeys.
We hosted an Irish coffee bar at Watermere at the Preserve!
At Discovery Village Alliance, we celebrated with lime sherbet floats and lots of festive fun.
We brought the energy to a Brazilian-themed party at Heartis Mid-Cities, serving tropical soda punch with tiny umbrellas and enjoying lots of dancing!
We attended the 2026 Tarrant Area Gerontological Society Ethics Symposium, where our Chinese New Year themed booth featured sweet pocky treats and festive fans!
Ashley attended Parker County LinkD at Harvest of Aledo Senior Living, continuing to build strong local connections.
We hosted a welcome luncheon and blood pressure clinic at Trinity Terrace to introduce Jessica Baugh, RN, who will be serving that community!
We attended Growing Connections at Legacy Oaks of Azle, where Overture proudly sponsored breakfast.
We led a Dementia Live® experience with the Northpark Presbyterian Casa Vida Dementia Volunteer program, continuing our mission to educate and support those caring for individuals living with dementia.
We had a great time attending a recent physicians networking event at Del Frisco’s Grille, where we connected with local doctors and healthcare professionals. Opportunities like this allow us to strengthen partnerships and collaborate on ways to better serve families in our community.
We partnered with Iris Memory Care to host a Dementia Live® experience alongside a brain health presentation in collaboration with the Dallas Alzheimer’s Association. This impactful event gave attendees a deeper understanding of what it’s like to live with dementia, while also providing practical education on maintaining brain health and supporting loved ones.
We are grateful for every opportunity to collaborate, learn, and grow alongside such incredible professionals and organizations. We look forward to many more moments of connection as we continue making a difference, one community at a time.
